We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg/Tele Float Pool team at Ochsner Health System. As a Lead Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Assess learning needs and implement effective teaching strategies to promote patient education and empowerment.
- Communicate and delegate tasks effectively to ensure seamless team collaboration and efficient workflow.
- Use data and evidence-based practices to drive quality improvement initiatives and promote a culture of excellence.
- Embody the values of Ochsner Health System, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction, employee morale, and professional growth.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- 2 years of relevant and recent nursing experience in a Med Surg/Tele Float Pool setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area.
