Job Summary

The Cardiac Sonographer is a vital member of our interprofessional care team, responsible for providing diagnostic medical sonography services and its various clinical specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic medical sonography services, including transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and bubble studies.
  • Maintain proficiency with echo/ultrasound equipment and communicate effectively with other members of the care team.
  • Complete daily clerical tasks and provide on-call coverage as scheduled.
  • Serve as an ambassador for the department and the Center, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Successful completion of a Echocardiography/cardiovascular education program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS certification
