Electrical Engineer Job Description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate electrical design teams on large-scale projects, ensuring timely completion and code compliance.
  • Establish meetings with governing agencies to review and address electrical design documents.
  • Conduct site visits and collaborate with project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review electrical documents for conflicts with other disciplines and provide solutions.
  • Develop and edit electrical specifications, selecting equipment and systems that meet project requirements.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to incorporate changes into project documents.
  • Provide construction contract administration and conduct QA/QC on electrical work.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of design and construction experience in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with field surveys, electrical hazard identification, and safe work practices.
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Experience with ETAP, load studies, and arc flash analysis.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong computer skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and EasyPower.

Our expected compensation range for this position is $101,150 - $144,500 annually, depending on skills, experience, education, and location.
