Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team in Alpine, Texas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all patients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
Requirements:
  • Current Texas Registered Nurse License/Certification
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 1-2 years of recent relevant experience
