Job Description:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist IV to ensure security compliance for our systems portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing guidance on security policy implementation and best practices
  • Analyzing security requirements and developing responses to mitigate risks
  • Reviewing and updating Authorization To Operate (ATO) artifacts to ensure compliance
  • Assessing security vulnerabilities and supporting remediation efforts to maintain a secure environment
  • Collaborating with stakeholders on continuous monitoring and ATO to ensure security posture
  • Conducting vulnerability assessments and responding to security incidents in a timely manner
  • Researching security trends and educating users on security procedures to maintain a secure environment
  • Recommending process improvements for risk mitigation and security enhancements
  • Staying updated on security best practices and tools to ensure compliance
  • Working with AWS Security tools and AWS services to maintain a secure environment

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of related experience in cybersecurity
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and CI/CD
  • Experience with DevSecOps and NIST Risk Management Framework
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust in the US

Desired Qualifications:

  • Federal Government contracting experience
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC
  • Experience with SIEM systems like Splunk
