Job Title: Primary Therapist

At AMFM Healthcare, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Primary Therapist, you will play a critical role in the care of our clients, working closely with clinical leadership to set treatment goals and objectives, assess client needs, and develop personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations and biopsychosocial assessments to inform treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy sessions as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records, documenting client progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and other activities to ensure effective clinical operations.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree or higher in a relevant field, such as counseling, psychology, or social work.
  • Active registration with the Department of Health and a minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health settings.
  • Strong clinical skills, with experience in group and individual therapy, crisis counseling, and case management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Our multidisciplinary team delivers daily group therapy, weekly psychiatric care, and weekly individual therapy, with a focus on person-centered treatment planning and client-centered care.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education Requirement: Masters degree or higher in a relevant course of study at an accredited university.
  • Acceptable Credentials (Minimum) - Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Clinical Social Worker, Associate Mental Health Counselor.
  • Acceptable Credentials (Desired) - LSWAIC, LMHCA, LMFTA. LMFT, LMHS, LICSW.
  • Must have active registration with Department of Health.
  • Hands-on experience in Groups (process, psycho educational, and topic), Family Therapy, Individual Therapy (wide range of modalities accepted), and working with clients with addiction issues.

Location:

Bellevue, WA.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
