About the Role
Dignity Health Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and patient-centric physician to serve as a PRN Hospitalist at our hospital in Arizona. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient consults to patients admitted to the hospital, including critically ill floor patients.
- Provide direct patient care for internal medicine conditions, treating diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart attacks, and other serious illnesses.
- Discharge patients from the ER or Clinical Decision Unit as necessary.
- Teach medical students, residents, and medical staff, and assist in evaluating clinical competencies of staff.
- Support the Program Director in matters relating to education and provide input into the development and implementation of clinical programs and technology.
- Communicate with colleagues and other members of the medical staff to promote positive relations.
- Assist in collecting data for medical quality/performance improvement (QI) programs.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree and active board certification.
- Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure.
- Completed ACGME residency training with current ABMS board certification.
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.
- Team-oriented provider with a passion for providing quality care and furthering the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
Compensation
$165.00 per hour.
