Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the public, and upholding the law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to solve crimes
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crimes
  • Provide support and assistance to the public, including emergency medical services and traffic control
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share information and resources
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest law enforcement techniques and procedures
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in law enforcement or a related field
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

The Police Officer will work in a variety of settings, including patrol cars, offices, and emergency situations.
