Clinical Therapist

About the Role:

Adventist Health is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Templeton, California. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week with an estimated salary of $65,000-$80,000 based on location and industry standards.

Job Summary:

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Adventist Health, you will be responsible for providing speech, language, and dysphagia services to patients. This includes evaluations, planning individual patient care programs, treatments, and home programs. You will work effectively with others in an inter-disciplinary team relationship and demonstrate competence within the scope of practice including age and condition appropriate considerations.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing skills
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities
• Work with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes
• Supervise support personnel and collaborate with other disciplines as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communicative Disorders
• Current California license as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience working with patients with dysphagia and ventilator-dependent patients preferred
