Your New Position...

Reporting directly to the Director of Audit & By-Title Reporting, this role is pivotal in overseeing the planning and execution of Network audits for the WBTV Group.

Key Responsibilities...

  • Facilitate negotiations for audit settlements with network partners.
  • Maintain a comprehensive license fee tracking system to ensure accurate revenue capture.
  • Prepare and organize audit documentation to support timely audits for designated networks.
  • Review license agreements and related documents to confirm completeness and accuracy of billings; generate billing summaries for audit purposes.
  • Calculate Union Escalations for billing to networks.
  • Address and respond to audit inquiries efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain an organized system to track audits from initiation to settlement, promptly identifying and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and manage special projects as required.
  • Audit production costs for shows developed in collaboration with co-producers.
  • Document each audit comprehensively for future reference and risk assessment.

Required Qualifications...

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the entertainment industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with movie or television production accounting is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • Proficient in core Office 365 applications (OneNote, SharePoint).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with external auditors and various levels of management.
  • Capability to interpret and understand legal agreements.
