Job Title: School Bus Driver

Liberty Elementary School District 25 is seeking a qualified School Bus Driver to transport students safely and efficiently to and from school.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and efficient transportation to and from school
  • Obey all traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain discipline on the bus and report any incidents to the proper authority
  • Check the bus before operation for mechanical defects and notify the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or lateness
  • Discharge students only at authorized stops and exercise responsible leadership on out-of-district school trips
  • Report all accidents and complete required reports in a clear and legible manner
Requirements:
  • Current Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with school bus and passenger endorsement
  • Current Arizona bus driver's certification
  • Acceptable driving record as per the AZ Department of Public Safety
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Physical stamina and health to perform the duties of a school bus driver
  • Ability to pass a physical performance test as required
Working Environment:

The employee will regularly work indoors, outdoors, and on a school bus. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
