We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in Mountain Home, ID.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an SLPA who can collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to execute treatment plans and interventions aimed at addressing speech, language, and communication goals.

The ideal candidate will support in conducting assessments and evaluations to acquire pertinent information about students' speech and language capabilities.

Responsibilities include administering individual or group therapy sessions to students under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, monitoring and documenting client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and implementing diverse therapeutic techniques and exercises to enhance speech production, articulation, language comprehension, and expressive language skills.

You will also assist students in developing and refining social communication skills and educate students and their families on strategies and techniques to enhance communication beyond therapy sessions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized certifying organization
  • Previous experience working with individuals with communication disorders is preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
