We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Associate I to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As an Environmental Services Associate I, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Management Team, you will be responsible for the cleanliness and servicing of assigned work areas, care of assigned equipment, and economical and efficient use of all supplies.
  • You will perform a variety of custodial duties to maintain a sanitary and orderly condition of our facilities, including but not limited to:
    • Emptying trash and recyclables
    • Restocking supplies
    • Disinfecting and sanitizing surfaces
    • Operating cleaning equipment
  • You will also be responsible for interacting directly with our patient population, providing exceptional customer service, and demonstrating a high level of professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • Custodial experience is preferred.
  • You must be able to interact directly with our patient population, and this role requires high visibility.
  • You must exhibit consistently high levels of customer service and a 'Patients First' sensibility.
