Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting materials and products to ensure conformance to customer specifications. This includes first part, in-process, and final inspection by performing various duties. The candidate will work closely with other quality and production personnel to facilitate the quality system and maintain positive working relationships with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process inspection in accordance with Type Design, Work Orders, and internal procedures
  • Perform final inspection per customer and company requirements
  • Write Quality Notifications as necessary for non-conforming product and assist in determining corrective action
  • Help manufacturing troubleshoot problems as they occur
  • Control the accuracy of quality assurance records
  • Perform first piece and/or first article inspections
  • Cross train with other inspectors that includes incoming and other inspection
