Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Financial Strategist to join our team at Marine Corps Community Services. This position is responsible for directing financial resources and providing executive-level financial advice to the Director and Deputy Directors.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will serve as the Chief Financial Officer for Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) and Deputy Director of Resource Management, Business and Support Services Division (MR). They will direct programming for the management of MCCS financial resources, maintaining integrity of financial management systems and exercising control over financial resources.
This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop, coordinate, and maintain an integrated system of financial staff services. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior financial management positions at the Headquarters level or private sector equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Directing financial strategy and translating it into organizational action
- Providing executive-level financial advice to the Director and Deputy Directors
- Developing and implementing financial plans and budgets
- Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and allocation
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Financial Management, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in senior financial management positions
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions
