About the Role

PacifiCorp is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Station Wireman - Electrical Systems, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on generating equipment and associated systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including installing, wiring, and testing equipment.
  • Evaluate equipment condition and ensure it meets acceptable standards for electrical maintenance.
  • Install, maintain, and repair generating station equipment, motors, and switches, including capacitor banks, oil circuit breakers, power transformers, motor operated switches, and regulators.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing and analysis of test results on equipment, apparatus, and wiring.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Four years of experience in the Wireman trade.
  • Proficient in diagnostic testing and analysis of test results.
  • Good driving record.
  • Must have a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be able to obtain one within six months.
  • Successfully completed a Journeyman Wireman apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
  • Pass a pre-qualifying skills test.
Preferred Qualifications

Journeyman Station Wireman experience or apprenticeship preferred.
