Position Summary: Soliant Education is in search of a dedicated and experienced Educational Psychologist to become a vital part of our team in Illinois. This full-time, onsite role is designed for the entire academic year, providing an opportunity to significantly influence students' educational and emotional growth. The ideal candidate will possess the required qualifications and a strong dedication to fostering student achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral requirements.
- Design and execute intervention strategies and plans to enhance students' academic and emotional progress.
- Work collaboratively with educators, guardians, and school personnel to address students' needs and formulate effective support frameworks.
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions to students dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.
- Assist in the creation and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Engage in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the decision-making processes concerning student support and services.
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and parents regarding mental health and educational methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement is mandatory.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline.
- Prior experience as a school psychologist, especially in a K-12 environment, is preferred.
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and counseling.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for collaborating with diverse groups.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality psychological services and support to students.
