Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Service Manager to oversee the efficient operation and customer satisfaction within the Environmental Services (EVS) department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in designated areas.
  • Engage in the recruitment and selection of staff members.
  • Assist in scheduling housekeeping personnel.
  • Delegate specific work areas and project assignments.
  • Plan and coordinate various project tasks.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Provide guidance and motivation to team members.
  • Contribute to the facility's Quality Assurance Program as needed.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assign and monitor the use of equipment by staff.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in a clean and professional manner.
  • Support housekeepers as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities in both individual and group settings.
  • Ability to manage staff using a collaborative approach.
  • Understanding of budgeting and financial concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capability to perform well under pressure.
  • Preferred: CRCST or similar sterile processing certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree.
