Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Services: Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Clinical Support: Assist with clinical tasks, such as coordinating with medical staff, reporting any issues or concerns, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Facility Maintenance: Report any mechanical problems or issues with the facility's vehicle to the maintenance director, and ensure that emergency equipment is available and in good working condition.
  • Supply Management: Recommend equipment and supply needs to the supervisor, and ensure that supplies are used efficiently to avoid waste.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality assurance activities, and assist in the development of the quality assurance program.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Knowledge of motor vehicles and navigation, with experience working with skilled nursing residents preferred.
  • Certifications: CPR certification required.
  • Skills: Dependability, timeliness, friendly demeanor, good phone skills, and excellent customer service.
Working Conditions

Works in assigned areas of the facility, with regular interaction with physicians, residents, personnel, visitors, and government agencies. May be required to work in cramped spaces.
