Technical Drafter

Are you a problem-solver with a passion for design? Do you have experience with AutoCAD and a strong understanding of infrastructure design principles?

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to join our team at Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and surveying teams to create accurate and detailed designs for various infrastructure projects.

• Design and develop construction drawings for infrastructure and residential projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to ensure model accuracy and drafting standards.
• Prepare project documentation for client submittal.
• Provide technical assistance and support to various departments throughout the firm.

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A high-school diploma or GED.
• Four (4) years of experience with basic site design including grading and drainage, utilities, and erosion control design.
• Two (2) years of direct work utilizing Carlson Precision 3D, or Civil 3D, and construction drawing preparation.

The estimated salary for this position is $28-$40 per hour.
