Aerospace Manufacturing Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our Aerospace Manufacturing Team at Goodwill Southeast Georgia. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual inspections, and measurements.
  • Prepare and file receiving inspection documentation and reject unacceptable materials.
  • Approve in-progress production by performing visual inspections and measurements, and reject unacceptable work.
  • Approve finished products by confirming specifications, performing visual inspections, and measurements, and reject unacceptable products.
  • Document inspection results by written or electronic means.
  • Select proper tools for product and material measurement.
  • Maintain working knowledge of industry, company, and customer standards and requirements applicable to G Force Manufacturing products.
  • Verify accurate kit contents and validate part labels and shipping documentation.
  • Assist with the maintenance of Quality Control records and documents.
  • May assist with the performance of internal audits.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.
  • Behavior conducive to personal and professional development.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic, written, and verbal expression.
  • Ability to determine tolerances expressed in fraction and decimal form and calculate conversions from fraction to decimal and decimal to fraction.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions such as procedure documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ability to receive and carry out instructions provided in written, oral, and diagram form.
