Job Responsibilities- Schedule Development: Develop and maintain cost and resource loaded programmatic schedules, gathering project progress from Project Managers and Superintendents/contractors on a weekly basis.
- Change Request Review: Review change request/change order logs with Project Managers on a weekly basis.
- Schedule Updates: Review project schedule and update it with Management on a weekly basis, accurately interpreting data and communicating clearly and concisely.
- New Project Setup: Build detailed project schedules quickly and accurately immediately upon project award/turnover.
- Data Analysis: Assemble and communicate data in support of scorecard, KPM, and portfolio tracking processes.
- Coding and Reporting: Maintain project and activity coding required for reporting purposes.
- Communication: Effectively communicate data and trends to Project/Operations Management.
- Scope Change Requests: Assist in compiling scope change requests.
- Process Adherence: Adhere to stringent schedule development and update processes as described by the PMO (Project Management Office) and established SWIs (Standard Work Instructions).
We require a candidate with a minimum of seven years' scheduling experience building and maintaining project schedules for large programs and projects. You should have experience working both independently and in a team environment, flexibility to accommodate shifting priorities due to demands and timeline changes, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and excellent communication skills to effectively interface with stakeholders.
You should be proficient in Primavera P6, SAP, Maximo, Microsoft Word & Excel, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience writing detailed and concise communications is also essential. Utilities, gas pipeline or electric distribution/transmission/substation experience is preferred but not required.
