Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including filling prescriptions, processing patient information, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in training and development programs to maintain PTCB certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
