">We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Art Education Specialist to join our team at Success Academy Charter Schools. As an integral part of our community, you will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture the artistic talents of our scholars, fostering a love for art and creativity that will last a lifetime.
">In this role, you will be responsible for building a safe and joyful classroom culture where scholars can explore their imagination and express themselves through various forms of art. You will work closely with fellow educators to develop a comprehensive art program that prioritizes aesthetics and makes learning visible to the community.
">- Foster a love for art in scholars: Engage students in the creative process, encourage self-expression, and cultivate a deep appreciation for art history and design.
- Develop a premier art program: Collaborate with Art Teachers across the network to build a cohesive and innovative curriculum that showcases the artistic talents of our scholars.
- Cultivate a school environment that values aesthetics: Work with colleagues to create a visually appealing and inspiring learning space that reflects the diversity and creativity of our scholars.
You Will Thrive in This Role If:
">- You have a Bachelor's degree in Visual, Fine, or Studio Arts (Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, and Ceramics) or Art Education.
- You have an outstanding record of academic achievement and an art or art education portfolio that showcases your skill-set and passion for art and learning.
- You possess the ability to set ambitious goals for yourself and set high expectations for your scholars, while embracing collaboration and a growth mindset.
