ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiser to elevate the retail experience in Valdosta, GA and surrounding areas. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with innovative global clients like Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.
Compensation Package
The estimated annual salary for this position is around $35,000, paid at $17.00 per hour for general merchandising projects. Additional technical projects are available at higher rates based on need. W2 employment with bi-weekly pay schedule and direct deposit ensures timely payment. An optional 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match is also offered.
Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiser, you will complete projects at major retail establishments like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and others within an assigned radius territory. Your primary goal is to turn shelves into sales magnets by ensuring proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays. You will represent various clients and submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each completed store visit.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience. You must be versatile, able to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will follow complex written instructions and display diagrams. Independence and teamwork are essential, as you will often work independently and collaborate with a small team when needed. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle transportation, and access to the internet, basic hand-held tools, and a smart device with Wi-Fi/GPS capability are required.
