**Role Overview: Merchandise Handler**
As a Merchandise Handler, your primary role is to deliver outstanding service to our retail locations and customers through various merchandise handling tasks, including loading and unloading shipments, packing and unpacking items, tagging, counting, and fulfilling orders. If you thrive in a dynamic, physically engaging role, this position may be a perfect fit for you.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensuring a safe working environment by prioritizing safety protocols
  • Utilizing technology to execute picking, sorting, and packing of orders
  • Recording, verifying, and counting merchandise quantities for orders
  • Adhering to production and quality standards
  • Willingness to take on additional assigned tasks as needed

**Qualifications Required:**

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to adapt to change by collaborating across various departments
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Consistent attendance and strong work ethic
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years

**Physical Requirements:**

  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, grasping, bending, and stacking cartons for extended periods
  • Standing for long durations and continuous walking
  • Retrieving merchandise from various shelving heights or relocating items as necessary
  • Climbing stairs and performing tasks at heights of up to 60 feet
  • Lifting weights of up to 50 lbs. (specific weight requirements may vary by department)
