Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at a Periodontics office in Washington DC. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting good oral health practices and treating patients with care and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient screenings and clean teeth
- Scale and root plan teeth, and perform cancer screenings
- Advise patients on oral health and preventative care
- Assist dentists in deciding treatments for teeth or gum diseases
- Handle dental emergencies and maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license to practice in Washington, DC
- Associate's degree (preferred)
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene
- Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role (new graduates encouraged)
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession
