Dynamic School-Based Speech-Language Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced School-Based Speech-Language Therapist to join our team at Soliant in Bloomfield, NJ. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them succeed academically and socially.

About the Opportunity

As a School-Based Speech-Language Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs, delivering direct therapy services in one-on-one and group settings.

You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom, participating in IEP meetings to contribute to the creation and review of student-specific goals and objectives. You will monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate records of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid SLP license or certification in New Jersey.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
What We Offer
