Caregiver Advocate

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team at Acme Providers Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalized support and care to adults with intellectual disabilities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
• Provide transportation to appointments and outings
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and provide regular updates to supervisors
• Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities
• Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support and care

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Average salary: $19 - $25 per hour (dependent on experience)
