Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in Springfield, Illinois.

As a key member of the healthcare team, the Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, interpreting images, and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, taking into account medical history, symptoms, and test results.
  • Perform and interpret ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular studies.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for long periods.
