Job Overview


The Sports Betting Cashier at Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction process for guests engaging in sports wagering.

This position is tasked with supporting the sports betting operations by processing ticket sales and ensuring accurate payouts.

Key Responsibilities


Provide prompt, courteous, and precise service to all guests.


Accept wagers and parlay cards, issuing tickets for all sporting events in a professional manner while utilizing a race and sports computer system.


Receive sport or parlay tickets from guests and process payments for winning tickets and vouchers through the designated computer system.


Maintain and balance a cash drawer for issuing and redeeming tickets and vouchers, adhering to void procedures and cash handling protocols.


Ensure a clean and well-stocked workstation for subsequent shifts.

Transaction Management


Accurately process and maintain transaction records and reconciliations.


Possess comprehensive knowledge of all terms and conditions related to sports wagering.


Stay informed about all lines and odds relevant to the sports betting environment.


Complete all necessary company, federal, state, tax, and gaming regulation documentation accurately and thoroughly.


Uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive information obtained during regular operations.


Execute all responsibilities in alignment with established company, departmental, and regulatory policies and procedures.


Perform additional duties as assigned.
