Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
  • Preparing month-end journal entries.
  • Conducting balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Performing variance analyses.
  • Compiling management reports.
  • Initially focusing on payroll accounting and related reporting.
  • Overseeing the collection of time cards within the ERP system.
  • Leading the transition to time card reporting in the payroll system.
  • Reconciling payroll reporting.
  • Allocating payroll expenses to various projects.
  • Providing management reports on payroll expenses, timecard reporting, and headcount.
  • Supporting the implementation of top-tier accounting practices during the transition to a new ERP system.
  • Receiving training on both current and new ERP systems.
  • Assisting in the integration of the new ERP system with the payroll system to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies across different ERP modules (e.g., inventory, COGS, and accounts payable across multiple locations).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Accounting, particularly within an ERP system and manufacturing context.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software to enhance productivity.
  • Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
