Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and sustain firmware for embedded devices.
  • Write, debug, and optimize real-time firmware.
  • Formulate testing strategies for components and systems.
  • Engage collaboratively with hardware and software engineers, Product Line Management, Operations Support teams, and Testing teams to enhance product performance.
  • Document processes and results effectively.
  • Analyze system scenarios to determine root causes of issues.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to drive effective solutions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols.
  • Follow directives with precision.

Essential Skills:

  • Familiarity with embedded systems development tools.
  • Understanding of version control and build systems.
  • Capability to thrive in a results-oriented environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adept multitasking abilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer or Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Junior or Senior academic standing.
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming and assembly language.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with microcontrollers such as Atmel ARM/Cortex or Microchip PIC.
  • Practical experience with hardware debugging tools.
  • Knowledge of various communication protocols including CAN Bus, RS-485, and Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems.
