Western EcoSystems Technology, Inc. (WEST) is a dynamic environmental consulting firm seeking two temporary full-time Biological Field Technicians.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to conduct avian use surveys for songbirds, hawks, eagles, and waterfowl in the region.

Additional tasks include bat acoustics monitoring and MET tower station maintenance.

Candidates must be capable of accurately identifying Midwest bird species by sight and sound, including large bird species at a distance of 800 meters.

A valid driver's license and ability to interact positively with project manager, field lead, landowners, and other technicians are required.

Estimated salary: $19 - $22 per hour
