Job Summary: As an Optician and Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive store environment. You will work closely with the store management team to develop and implement strategies to drive business results and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a personalized and engaging experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest optical products and services, using this knowledge to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with the store management team to develop and implement business strategies, driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a positive store environment, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the store management team.

Requirements:

  • Current State Optician License
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and practices
  • 1+ years of retail sales experience
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule and the hours necessary to open and/or close the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written), including strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to be on your feet most of the day or moving on the sales floor or stock room
  • Ability to maneuver merchandise and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Physical activities include engaging in repetitive motions, bending, kneeling, twisting, stretching, squatting, pushing, pulling, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking, reaching and/or using a step stool on a frequent basis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Optical dispensing experience

Compensation and Benefits: Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
