Job Summary

Marvel Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team on a travel assignment in a medical facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty and stent placement.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray and fluoroscopy machines, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and administering contrast media.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide care as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Experience working in a medical imaging department, preferably in an interventional radiology setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging principles and procedures, including radiation safety and quality control.
