Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse B-Inpatient to join our team at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced behavioral health inpatient environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Salary: $93,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize, coordinate, and provide direct/indirect age-specific and developmentally appropriate quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced behavioral health inpatient environment
  • Perform the nursing process (assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation) in accordance with established Professional Practice Model
  • Continually expand knowledge base and clinical skills with a focus in acute phases of various mental health diagnoses
  • Apply critical thinking skills to identify and respond to triggers and risk factors that can cause a patient's behavior to escalate
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required for external hires
  • Minimum of one year experience in nursing required
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License required
