Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the administration of quality, process, and business improvement efforts. This role involves interacting with customers and suppliers on quality and performance issues. The ideal candidate will have direct reports to implement policies and procedures within the quality function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion a safety culture and ensure a safe work environment
- Set goals and objectives for team members and assist in their accomplishment
- Audit facilities for compliance with GMP standards and maintain plants in compliance with corporate quality requirements
- Ensure testing standards, procedures, and equipment provide reliable results and prevent shipment of defective products
- Lead problem-solving and process improvement with the plant and customer to achieve resolution and elimination of product issues
- Train, mentor, and develop technicians and peers to be skilled experts in quality tools
- Establish plant audit and standards, procedures, and equipment to provide accurate test results
- Visit customer sites to gain knowledge of customer processes and assist with quality problem-solving issues
