Job Summary

We're seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team of dedicated and caring professionals. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies. You'll be responsible for managing all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age (if state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement).
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (if state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement).
  • Attention and Focus: The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Actively look for ways to help people, and do so in a friendly manner.
  • Communication Skills: Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Mathematical Reasoning: The ability to use math to solve a problem, such as calculating day's supply of a prescription.
  • Problem Resolution: Is able to judge when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong; recognizing there is a problem.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • PTCB National Certification.
