Power Distribution Engineer

Tesla is looking for an experienced Power Distribution Engineer - Semi to work on the design and development of high voltage distribution systems for the Tesla Semi.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with new architectures and technologies. You will develop and implement accelerated test plans, analyze field usage and environmental conditions, and facilitate design FMEA sessions to assess product risks.
As a successful candidate, you will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, with 2+ years of experience working on battery systems/high voltage laboratory testing environments. You will also have experience with burn-in testing, Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT), and Highly Accelerated testing methods.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $84,000-$222,000, plus cash and stock awards, and benefits.
