Job Description:

The Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, observing, and interacting with construction workers to prevent the introduction of hostile surveillance monitoring devices into finished construction. This role requires screening all equipment, materials, and furnishings destined for use in the controlled construction area using X-ray machines and other approved methods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operate proposed inspection equipment.
2. Utilize knowledge of construction disciplines, including civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering principles.
3. Read and analyze designs and blueprints, recognizing the architect's intended use and identifying potential security risks.
4. Exercise knowledge of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, construction principles, and types of devices used by hostile and friendly intelligence services.
5. Write detailed reports in English, analyzing issues, findings, and security situations that require staff action.
6. Maintain daily logs during their tour of duty.

Requirements:

1. Active CST certification is preferred.
2. Must be capable of independent decision making and possess a high degree of individual initiative, functioning with minimal supervision.
3. 3+ Years of security and/or construction experience.
4. TS/SCI or above clearance.
5. Ability to stand for 8 hours, work outdoors in all seasons, and lift up to 25 pounds.
