Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for obtaining patient history, explaining standard procedures, and addressing patient concerns. You will arrange patients for radiological examinations, produce radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems, and prevent patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. You will work under immediate supervision and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain patient history and explain standard procedures
• Arrange patients for radiological examinations
• Produce radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems
• Prevent patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation
• Work under immediate supervision and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines

Requirements:
• Associates degree and completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration
• Experience preferred but not required
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
