Job Description: We are immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Master Level Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy duty vehicles. This includes oil changes, brake and tire work, AC, electrical systems, advanced skilled level repairs, and major engine repairs.

Salary and Benefits: The hourly pay rate is $34.28 per hour. Additional benefits include a Certification Bonus of up to $700, a Quarterly Bonus of up to $500, and a Sign On Bonus of $2500 at 30 days and $2500 at 90 days.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be eligible for this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational or technical certification, post secondary degree or technical certifications preferred. You should also have demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventative maintenance and diagnostics.
Responsibilities: As a Master Level Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing standard vehicle maintenance, preventive maintenance, complex repairs with minimal support, and demonstrating the ability to access and use internal and external maintenance documents. You will also diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems utilizing diagnostic computers/software when applicable.
