Burnett Medical Center Inc is actively looking for a dedicated full-time Emergency Department Staff Registered Nurse. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule
This position requires three 12-hour shifts on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, from 7 PM to 7 AM), allowing you to work 36 hours while being compensated for 40 hours.
Position Summary
The Staff Registered Nurse will be responsible for overseeing, planning, directing, and evaluating direct patient care across all age groups. This role emphasizes personal and professional development alongside proficient nursing practice.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in Wisconsin.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Current certification or eligibility for ACLS, TNCC/CALS, and Neonatal certification.
Experience Requirements
- Basic ECG monitoring experience is essential.
- A minimum of one year of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing is required. Prior experience in Critical Care or Emergency Care is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using personal computers and relevant software applications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Additional Information
- Successful candidates must pass a drug screening and physical evaluation upon hire.
