Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Plan Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to assess patients' needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate treatment plans.
  • Manage Emergency Situations: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, such as cardiac arrests, traumas, and other life-threatening conditions.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current RN License: Possess a current and active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
  • Emergency Room Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an emergency room setting, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Computer Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems.
