Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering individualized patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence. This role requires strong communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
• Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics.
• Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve goals, using effective communication and collaboration techniques.
• Practice using current clinical practice standards and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
• Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to promote safe and quality patient care.

• Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing.
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia or eligibility for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
