Optical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Manager to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As an Optical Manager, you will be responsible for leading our optical department and ensuring that our members receive exceptional service and support.

• Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the optical team, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver outstanding service and meet business objectives.
• Team Management: Supervise and develop the skills of optical team members, providing coaching and training to ensure they are able to meet the needs of our members.
• Member Service: Ensure that our members receive exceptional service and support, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Department Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the optical department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Business Performance: Analyze business performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies to drive growth and profitability.

• Education and Experience: Must be licensed to work as an optician within the state and have a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree and/or experience in optical management is preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, including the ability to manage and develop a team, and drive business results.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, members, and other stakeholders.
• Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze business performance and identify areas for improvement.
