Position:
Certified Surgical Technologist - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Location:
Various Locations

Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate:
$50/hr

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Candidates must possess the following skills to be considered for the role:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in CVOR.

- Must hold an active compact license.



Surgical Technologist Responsibilities:
- Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensuring adequate supplies are available for surgery.
- Preparing patients for surgery by disinfecting incision sites.
- Assisting during surgery by passing instruments and supplies.
- Monitoring surgical supplies.
- Staying informed on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
- Collaborating effectively with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and the surgical team.
- Contributing to excellent patient care.

Surgical Technologist Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program and certification.
- Experience with surgical instrumentation.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Strong understanding of surgical technology and procedures.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- A passion for patient care.
