Position Overview

We are in search of a committed Associate Veterinarian to enhance our Winding Hill family.

With a legacy of serving our community, we are eager to welcome a new veterinarian to our practice, focusing on our feline-friendly and canine fear-free approach.

The Associate Veterinarian plays a crucial role within our healthcare team. It is essential for this individual to communicate with empathy and clarity, ensuring that clients are well-informed about all treatment options available for their pets. This role involves close collaboration with the Client Care Team to provide an exceptional client experience and ensure satisfaction. Delivering consistent, high-quality medical care to our patients remains our utmost priority.

Qualifications Required:

  • DVM or VMD degree
  • Current Pennsylvania veterinary license or eligibility for licensure in PA
  • Commitment to providing exceptional medical care and client service

This role includes regular daytime, evening, and rotational Saturday shifts. We offer a competitive compensation package, including paid time off, 401k, health insurance, and a continuing education allowance.

Since our inception, Winding Hill Veterinary Clinic has been dedicated to addressing the unique needs of pet owners in the Harrisburg and Central Pennsylvania area. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental services for small animals. Our clinic is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA), and Veterinary Information Network (VIN). We are equipped with a full-service pharmacy, surgical suite, radiology suite, and a well-supervised hospitalization area.

We are also committed to community welfare, sponsoring initiatives like the Last Chance Fund for abused and neglected animals and supporting Summit Search and Rescue, which utilizes bloodhounds for locating missing individuals.
