Veterinarian Position

The Associate Veterinarian is a key member of our veterinary medical team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, providing exceptional client service, and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery
- Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account patient medical history, current condition, and treatment goals
- Collaborate with other veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise information about patient care, treatment options, and hospital policies
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and best practices
- Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- State veterinary board license
- Current USDA accreditation (a plus)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional client service
